Job Title: Track Laborer

Job Summary:
North Shore Track is seeking a skilled Track Laborer to join our team. As a Track Laborer, you will work alongside a team of professionals to perform general maintenance and construction tasks on railway tracks. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding environment and have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Perform general track maintenance, including repairing and replacing tracks, ties, and ballast.
Operate hand and power tools such as hammers, wrenches, and drills to complete maintenance tasks.
Assist in the construction of new railway tracks and related infrastructure.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working on the tracks.
Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
Report any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in railroad construction or maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
